Red Phone box stories continued

On the radio today  the You and Yours programme featured a brief and fascinating news item on other red phone boxes and how, after decommissioning, they have been used: an extension of your local store in a remote village in the Yorkshire Dales was the excellent fate of one. And in Tarporley, Cheshire, not far from where I live, another has become an un-manned library. Purchased from BT for the sum of 1p, the box has been renamed The Book Box and books are borrowed on a Bring one/ Take one basis. What a great idea! I'd love to have one to store my garden tools in.
